The designer

designer textile

" Self-taught textile designer and visual artist from Ardèche, I grew up between lakes and mountains, in Annecy, Haute-Savoie.
After spending a few years in Paris, where I discovered the fabric field when I did my training at the fabric editor Nobilis, Bonaparte road, I went to Spain to focus on intuitive expression through painting with Sennelier ink on paper. Back in Haute-Savoie, I experimented with acrylic painting on large canvases and cotton thread collage on paper. I use and transform this work to create design patterns that are then reproduced on textile supports in the fashion and upholstery industries.

Ancestors are never very far away. Indeed, I discovered long after starting with silk that my great-grandparents had a silk mill in Ardèche, in Chirols, a place now transformed into an eco-museum and artists' workshops. I returned to retrace their steps to connect with this unknown part of my past. There are no coincidences. "
